Universial Studios in LA is a theme park owned by Universial (obviously…).

According to the text on the back it is:

“Located between Hollywood and the San Francisco Valley, [and] is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Southern California.”

This postcard is of the Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

I remarked to the friend that sent this to me that it looks very like the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and they are in fact designed by the same architect – Canadian/American Frank Gehry.

It annually hosts the college (American) football bowl game and also hosted the 1994 World Cup final.

When I went to the Basque Country I sent a friend of mine some postcards and in return she sent me some of Los Angeles.

This one shows the LA Coliseum which hosted the Olympic games in both 1932 and 1984.

It also hosted former NASL team the LA Aztecs.
